Annual Photographic Competition 2026

The 16th Annual Photographic Competition 2026 – The Results Are In

For 2026 the Society returned to its broad theme of capturing the heritage of our two villages and their surrounding area such as historic buildings, landscape, agriculture, related industries, transport and village life. The established geographic area of the village environs remains in place and all photographs had to have been taken between 1st July 2025 and 30th June 2026.

The Results:

First: ‘Farm Life’ by Jane Jupp

Second: ‘Feering Bridge’ by Peter Burt

Third: ‘Feering Lodge through the Poppy Field’ by Paul Gilbert

Additionally, the following were classed as Highly Commended:

‘Arches’ by Margaret Laws

‘A Turner Sky over Modern Feering’ by Paul Gilbert

‘Swans’ Street’ by Paul Ryder

The entries from the 2026 competition will shortly go on display in Feering & Kelvedon Local History Museum.

A range of images have also been chosen to feature in the Society’s 2027 details of which will be posted once it is available.
