History of the Photographic Competition

The competition started following a donation from the family of a local farmer Tony Bonner  who died in 2008. After long discussion it was decided to use the money to create a photographic competition to encourage interest in where we live, especially amongst the younger members of the two villages. Tony felt very strongly that the two villages should be left as they are, not stopping progress but looking after what we have and ensuring future development enhanced it.

Some of the entries will be made into a calendar which will be available from various outlets in the two villages from September. So if you would like your photographs to be considered for inclusion in the calendar do remember they need to be in landscape format rather than portrait.

All of the entries go on display from the end of September in Feering & Kelvedon Local History Musuem.
