The 15th Annual Photographic Competition 2025 – The Results
The Society established the competition in 2010 to encourage local amateur photographers – of all ages – to records aspects of our two villages, such as the historic buildings, landscape, agriculture and relates industries. Whilst these broad criteria have led to a wonderfully varied range of entries over the past years, a number of entrants expressed a preference to have instead a more specific individual ‘theme’. For 2024 it was trees, 2025 My Favourite Property.
These were the results for the 2025 competition:
First: ‘Spring Flowers Church’ by Evalynn Ramsay
Second: ‘Workers Cottages’ by Catherine Murphy
Third: ‘The Railway Tavern’ by Paul Gilbert
Additionally, the following were classed as Highly Commended:
‘Ormonde Lodge’ by Jane Jupp
‘Library on the Green’ by Karen Pye
‘Walberswick House’ by Graham Womack
The entries from the 2025 competition are now on display in Feering & Kelvedon Local History Museum.
